FRANK WARREN has refuted Dillian Whyte’s claims he should get a second crack at Tyson Fury.
whyThe 34-year-old felt the fight ended prematurely – telling Sky Sports: “I should have had time to recover, I had time to get back to my corner.
“Tyson Fury gets away with a lot of things.
“I hope he doesn’t retire because I want to try again.”
When asked if the Gypsy King should fight Whyte again, Warren said talkSPORT: “No. For what? Based on what?”
When briefed on Whyte’s comments, Warren added: “When I was younger I asked for Julia Roberts to be taken out, it never happened.
“The only unsatisfactory thing for him was the fact that he was stopped, he was knocked unconscious and that’s the end.
“It’s not even debatable, it’s not even worth going there. Zero.
“That’s not going to happen Dillian, you need to fight your way back into competition and good luck with that.”
Despite his public pleas, Whyte has yet to get in touch with Fury’s representatives regarding a potential rematch.
Warren continued, “No, I haven’t heard a word from him.
“He was gone, he was on his feet. Better that Tyson pushed him than hit him because he would never have gotten up.
“He doesn’t have a case. He was beaten, he was beaten massively.”
Fury, 33, has doubled down on his claim that he will now retire after beating Whyte.
The fact is that all the fighters, almost all of them came back, very few of them actually resigned
But Warren isn’t exactly sure if the Gypsy King has left his throne for good.
He revealed: “I wouldn’t convince him because it’s up to him to convince himself.
“The fact is that every fighter, almost all of them have come back, very few of them have actually retired.
“You have to keep in mind that he has been at camp non-stop for months and months now and so he wants a break from it.
“He’s going to need a break because he’s been working hard and then he’ll make a decision.”
