Two London teenagers were stabbed a mile apart

Two 16-year-old boys were stabbed just a mile apart in Greenwich, Englan, on Saturday night, most recently as a violent rash swept through the town.

The unnamed teenagers were found with stab wounds in Abbey Wood and Thamesmead just after 5pm, London’s Metropolitan Police said.

The boys died later in the night, police said.

“Given the close proximity and distance in time of the incidents, officials will urgently seek to establish a link between them,” the Met said.

At least four others were stabbed across the city in November and two died from their injuries.

Keisha Christodoulou, 32, was stabbed to death at a home in Tanner’s Hill on the first day of the month. Police believe Leon Murray, 33, killed her and that the two knew each other prior to the stabbing.

Three teenagers have been arrested in the fatal stabbing of Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov, 21, in Bromley Road on November 4. George David, 16, went on the run but was arrested a few weeks later along with two unnamed boys, aged 14 and 17.

The police are investigating the crime scene.

The boys are the latest in a series of unrelated stabbings that are sweeping the city.

Two others died of stab wounds this month.

Two men have been charged after a man in his 40s was stabbed to death in Queen’s Road, Twickenham on November 18. The victim was taken to the hospital and his condition was assessed as non-life threatening.

The next day a man in his 20s was stabbed in the leg at the junction of Lion Road and Bexleyheath Broadway in Bexleyheath. Two men, aged 24 and 25, have been arrested in connection with the crime.
