TSM finalizes Valorant roster ahead of VCT Stage 2

TSM have signed former Gen.G IGL Anthony “gMd” Guimond and former 100 Thieves and T1 talent Johann “seven” Hernandez for their pre-Phase 2 Valorant squad.

TSM officially announced the two new additions to its Valorant roster on April 23rd. Seven has been considered a top talent in Valorant for some time, and prior to this latest move he was involved with T1 and 100 Thieves.

After TSM failed to qualify for the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 1 NA Challengers in February, TSM revised their roster ahead of Stage 2.

Fans got to see what these two signings can do with the current roster as they played in third-party tournaments with TSM.

Most recently, the team finished second in a Knight Circuit Monthly tournament, losing to Ghost Gaming 0-2. The two will officially debut for the organization in the Stage 2 Challengers open qualifier on April 28th.

North American Valorant fans have seen gMd compete with Gen.G before VCT was even announced. The Franco-Canadian joined Gen.G in May 2020 and won a few different beta tournaments but didn’t qualify for First Strike: North America.

Seven has been a touted North American talent since his stint on the free-agent roster Teal Seam in early 2021. He signed with 100 Thieves as a substitute in September 2021 but never saw playtime in the main roster.

The Mexican player then played for T1 and appeared with the squad in both Stage 1 Challengers qualifiers.

Neither player has seen major tournaments outside of North America for Valorant and is joining a TSM team that has yet to reach the same heights as 2020.

TSM’s current roster now looks like this:

  • Anthony ‘gMd’ Guimond
  • Johann ‘seven’ Hernandez
  • Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
  • Corey ‘corey’ Nigra
  • Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo
