Trump can dish out, but his entire team whines when he’s hit

Donald Trump shows his glass jaw.

The former president lashes out at rivals, enemies, and even the odd bystander with vile, factless insults.

But after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in an interview with The Post’s Piers Morgan light Noting Trump’s messy style and the alleged hush-money-to-a-pornstar thing, Trump (and his cronies) totally lost it.

“Ron DeSanctimonious isn’t working for the people of Florida like he should, he’s too busy chatting with a TV host from England who is being challenged by ratings,” Trump tweeted on Truth Social.

He hung up morganjust who interviewed DeSantis.

Trump supporter Steve Bannon called DeSantis a “weasel.”

Mike Lindell called it “disgusting”.

Trump’s son, Donald Trump, Jr., said DeSantis addressed the “liberal media” “pathetically” (did he really mean that? The post?) “at the direction of his RINO establishment owners.”

DeSantis, whose record for standing against the lockdown left far surpassed Trumps, is a RINO?

Trump even doubled down on his baseless suggestion that the Florida governor is a dog groomer — an absolutely ludicrous slur he first repeated last month after a grainy image surfaced of a guy who saw like a younger DeSantis partying with young women, one of whom appears to be holding a beer bottle.

It’s perfectly fair — and not at all out of hand — for Trump to ridiculously suggest that 2016 Prez Race rival Ted Cruz’s father helped John Kennedy’s assassin.

And calling Cruz’s wife ugly.

And to poke fun at the looks of another 2016 rival, Carly Fiorina, in a debate.

Or calling his own former national security adviser, John Bolton, a “dope.”

Or Mayor Michael Bloomberg “Mini Mike”.

Or his own niece, Mary Trump, “unstable.”

No one has lauded as many childish, bullying insults as Donald Trump.

To be sure, Trump faced an unprecedented onslaught of purely partisan fabricated attacks from the left during his tenure.

The Post and DeSantis lobbied for him during Russiagate and the others.

But DeSantis is just saying out loud what everyone already knows to be true about the ex-Prez — that his tenure has been plagued by “drama” and chaos created entirely by himself, and that he spends his time hanging out “with people in to fight social media”.

On that fact alone, TrumpWorld goes berserk and proves DeSantis’ point.

Trump can’t take a little of what he likes to dish out.

Sad.
