Trump attacks Megyn Kelly after backlash in interview: “She was pretty bad”

Trump called Hillary Clinton an evil woman during the 2016 presidential campaign – and now he’s insulting conservative commentator Megyn Kelly.
Kelly interviewed Trump last week – for the first time since Trump shortly after he first attacked her during a 2015 Republican presidential debate. Trump said Kelly was evil then, too.
“I did ‘Meet the Press’ this weekend, it got fantastic ratings. I call it ‘Meet the Fake Press,'” Trump began at a campaign stop in Iowa on Wednesday. “And it was one question after another, after another, and it took a whole hour. They had Kristen Welker, and she was, you know, nice, even though she kept interrupting me because she didn’t like all the answers I was giving.”
He continued: “Then I did a Megyn Kelly video and she, you know, boy, suddenly got even nastier. She was pretty mean, don’t you think? Did anyone see that?”
During Kelly’s interview, published last week, the expert pressed the former president about his handling of classified documents after he left the White House. She noted that his lawyers had agreed to turn over everything requested in the subpoena just so federal agents could find more classified materials.
Kelly, for her part, recently insisted when asked about Trump: “You know, all the nonsense between us is under wraps, and he couldn’t have been more magnanimous.”
