In a 50-minute conversation with Charlamagne The God, Scott spoke about his feelings recently, saying:
“I went through many different kinds of emotions, you know? I mean an emotional roller coaster ride. It gets really tough because, you know, I always feel connected to my fans. I’ve been through something and I feel like the fans have been through something and everyone’s parents have been through something, and it’s really painful. It hurts the community, it hurts the city. There was so much thought, so much emotion, so much grief and I was just trying to wrap it up. And really just want to be there and wish that you could hold people, heal them, talk to them, chat. It really just hurts, man. ”
Charlamagne then asked Scott if he had any intention of interviewing and Scott replied, “Personally, I didn’t, I just felt like something had happened and I felt as if it was. … I need a way to communicate, you know? One, families are grieving. There are fans who have been through something, there are fans who have come to the show. I’ve always been someone who always sees things through with people who share my experiences. […] I tried to figure everything out. “
