Tottenham Hotspur links up with Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul
The Italian news outlet have claimed that Paratici is a big admirer of the Atletico star and could make a €30m (£26.5m) bid for the Argentina midfielder, who won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Inter Milan and Juventus have also been linked with the 28-year-old £94,000-a-week ace (SalarySport) branded as “extraordinary” by former Udinese boss Julio Velazquez.
HITC verdict: Potentially exciting signing for Spurs
In our opinion, Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul would be a very good signing for Tottenham Hotspur.
De Paul is a very dynamic player who can hold his own in the middle of the park, push the team and make himself a force to be reckoned with.
The fact that the Argentine is a regular in his national soccer team shows how good he is.
And at 28, he’s in his prime.
So De Paul could make an immediate difference at Tottenham.
The 28-year-old has made 14 starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga for Atletico so far this season.
De Paul has scored one goal and provided three assists in those games.
