Tory Lanez mugshot revealed – transferred to state prison

Tory Lanez posed for a new mugshot on Tuesday after being transferred to a state prison where he will continue to serve his sentence after being convicted in the shooting death of Megan Thee Stallion.

The 31-year-old Canadian “Say It” rapper, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, is now incarcerated at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California.

He appeared emotionless in the new picture, revealed five days after his unveiling Bail denied.

Lanez had asked Judge David Herriford to release him on bail so he could live with his son and wife while his team worked on his appeal.

However, Judge David Herriford denied the request on Sept. 14, citing Lanez’s conviction for a violent crime, his history of violating court orders and his foreign citizenship as factors contributing to the decision.

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison earlier this year for shooting Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, in the feet after a party at Kylie Jenner’s home in the Hollywood Hills in July 2020.

Lanez was convicted of negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a weapon and carrying a loaded and unregistered weapon.

Megan, 28, faced criticism from Lanez’s fan base following the condemnation, but the “WAP” rapper had some good words for the critics during an appearance at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on August 14.

“F–k all my haters. “Nothing you did or said broke me,” Megan told her fans, referred to as “Hotties.”

He continued: “This week in court I took responsibility for all the verbal and intimate moments I shared with the parties involved… that’s it.”
