Top Boy revisits the old Summerhouse character as Erin remembers her father’s death
In season three of Top Boy, Erin explains to Stef that Sully had killed her own father the same way he killed Jamie, but who exactly was Erin’s father and what happened to him?
*WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Top Boy* – One of the main subplots in Season 3 of Top Boy (or Season 5 if you include the original Channel 4 show) is a growing romance between Stefan and Erin, whose bond is strengthened as they tell each other about how Sully killed one is a member of both families.
Erin and Stef disagree about what Sully did to their families
In episode 5 of Netflix’s third season of Top Boy, Stef and Erin share a tender scene in which they both talk about the tragic losses that have shaped their lives.
After the brutal Season 2 finale, Stef was left without his older brother Jamie after Sully murdered him on his doorstep.
Jamie’s death plays a big role in Stef’s story in Season 3, as he ponders whether to seek revenge.
Meanwhile, Erin explains that Sully was responsible for her father’s death as she remembers the fateful moment when he knocked on her door and led her father away.

Who is Erin’s father Top Boy?
Erin’s father in Top Boy is Dris Wright.
Dris, played by Shone Romulus, was a key character in Summerhouse during the first two seasons of Channel 4’s Top Boy and the first chapter of the Netflix reboot.
He was a close ally of Dushane and Sully and served as their ruthless enforcer.
Dris took over as head of Summerhouse alongside new recruit Jaq when Top Boy moved to Netflix, before becoming Dushane’s deputy again upon his return from Jamaica.
What happened to Dris?
Dris was killed by Sully in the final episode of the first season of Top Boy on Netflix.
Earlier in the season, Dris had suffered a stroke, which left him partially disabled and prone to seizures.
Since this made him a liability to the company, Dushane had no choice but to demote him.
Dris was then visited by Jermaine, a member of Jamie’s rival gang London Fields, who offered him money to give Erin a better life in exchange for revealing Sully and Dushane’s whereabouts so they could carry out an attack on them. which Dris agreed.
Dushane and Sully survived the attack and quickly realized that Dris had betrayed them as he was the only one who knew their whereabouts.
After escaping Jamie’s gang, Sully came to Dris’ apartment while he and Erin were watching TV. He took Dris to the roof of a nearby apartment building and shot him.
Although Dris had been a key figure in the Summerhouse gang, Sully was visibly upset about what he had to do and spent much of the second season feeling guilty about killing Dris.
