Tom Holland knows which MCU character currently owns the Avengers tower

One of the unsolved mysteries of the Marvel Cinematic Universe concerns the current owner of Avengers Tower, the former home of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. While many fans speculated who might use the tower in the future and what the outcome would be, the Spider-Man actor Tom Holland already knows the answer, even though he refuses to share it.

In an interview for Comic, Holland was asked if he knew the fate of the Avengers Tower before. At first, the wonder star seemed confused by the question. However, after a few seconds, Holland shouted with wide eyes: “I know who bought the Avengers Tower!” Dutch co-star Zendaya, who plays MJ in the MCU, covered his mouth to prevent him from revealing the secret. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done because now we’ll go back to wondering who owns the building and why the answers are being kept private.

The Avengers’ first base of operations belonged to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) until it was refurbished for Earth’s defenders after the aliens invaded New York during the events of 2012 The Avengers. After that, the tower would appear in several Marvel movies until it was sold to a mysterious buyer in 2017. Spider-Man: Homecoming. Full story of Come home revolve around the Vulture (Michael Keaton) tries to steal Avengers technology while Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) empties the Tower. Marvel never spoke to the owner of Avenger Tower again until recently, when the sale was made by Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) inside Hawk Eye series.

COLD VIDEO OF THE DAY

While it’s very possible that the new owner of the Avengers Tower is just another easter egg in the MCU, the fact that Holland knew about it and had to keep it a secret suggests that the answer should come as a surprise to fans. However, we cannot know when the secret will be revealed. Maybe we’ll learn more about the Avengers Tower deal in Hawk Eye, the last place the deal was mentioned. Or maybe it’s somehow related to the next Spider-Man movie.

Holland will be back as a Web Crawler this month in Spider-Man: There’s no way home. The film will break down the barriers of the Multiverse when Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is enlisted to erase Spider-Man’s true identity from everyone’s memory. Unfortunately, the spell doesn’t work and instead brings visitors from another reality into the MCU. Spider-Man: There’s no way home will feature Alfred MolinaDoctor Octopus, Jamie FoxxElectro, Willem DafoeGreen Goblinand, as recently revealed, Church of Thomas HadenSandman and Rhys Ifans‘ Lizard.
