Timothée Chalamet fans prompt police to shut down red carpet at Bones And All Milan premiere

A huge gathering of Timothée Chalamet’s fans at the premiere of bones and all in Milan prompted local police to close the red carpet.

Luca Guadagnino’s film, starring Chalamet and Taylor Russell as cannibalistic lovers on a road trip through 1980s America, premiered on Saturday (12 November) at Milan’s space cinema Odeon.

Fans of the 26-year-old actor turned out outside the venue hoping to catch a glimpse of Chalamet on the red carpet.

However, police were forced to suspend red carpet activity after the large group raised safety concerns. diversity reported.

The publication added that members of the press were turned away while the premiere continued on a more limited basis.

Following the teaser release in August, Guadagnino opened up about his latest creative endeavor Diversity: “There is something about the disenfranchised, about people who live on the fringes of society, that draws me in and touches me.”

“The film is a meditation for me on who I am and how to overcome my feelings, especially when it’s something I can’t control within myself. And last but not least: when will I be able to find myself in the eyes of others?”

bones and all Also starring are Mark Rylance, André Holland and Chloë Sevign, as well as Michael Stuhlbarg, who played Chalamet’s father Call me by your name.

bones and all will have a limited theatrical run in North America on November 18th.

It is slated for a wider release in the US and UK on November 23rd.
