TIKTOK star Rory Teasley posted a satirical clip where he lamented turning 30 – the day his boyfriend allegedly strangled him.
The social media influencer, 28, was found not breathing after police were called to an apartment in Pontiac, Michigan on Thursday night.
Medical pronunciation Teasley died after he was taken to the hospital.
Teasley is known for posting comedy and dance clips on TikTok and has more than 200,000 followers.
He last posted on the social media site on Thursday, where he lamented growing old.
In the video, the star appears to be “struggling” off the sofa, before clutching his lower back.
He captioned the post: “Getting an old MF(sic).”
The clip has been liked more than 3,300 times on the social networking site.
Docquen Jovo Watkins, the influencer’s boyfriend accused of strangling him after contesting the 2016 shooter game Overwatch, Insiders report.
Watkins has been charged with murder and is being held without bond, according to Oakland County jail records.
Police said he will appear in court at a probable cause meeting on January 18.
Dozens of tributes were posted when reports of Rory’s death emerged.
One said: “RIP really hurts this city, you will be missing out on such a beautiful soul (sic).”
Another commented: “So sad you haven’t even hit 30…we love you Rory(sic).”
And, a third posted: “Legend of Pontiac! Rest in peace.”
TikToker’s management team did not respond to Insider’s request for comment.
