TikTok recalls the shocking December 22 incident involving a slideshow in the new trend

TikTok is being inundated with videos looking back at the incident that took place on the platform on December 22, 2022, but what exactly happened?

Social media has made it impossible for people to forget certain trends, challenges, or viral posts. Because of this, there are a few people who clearly remember the incident that happened on TikTok on December 22nd, 2022. If you’re one of them, you’re in luck because we have all the details of what happened.

What incident occurred on TikTok on December 22, 2022?

On December 22, several TikTok users noticed that the slideshows published on the platform also contained NSFW content.

These images and videos came as a shock to many people as the platform has strict policies on such content. On that day, however, it seemed like there were no rules. Some claimed that the incident may have happened because engineers may have been on Christmas break.

However, the platform never commented on what went wrong. The posts eventually disappeared from TikTok, but the date is still known to all users who used the app.

There was several other NSFW content

Recently, TikTok has been inundated with multiple NSFW content. Recently, the Pokemon 777 filter with its Gardevoir content has enjoyed great popularity.

Previously, a Hello Kitty filter also went viral for the same reason. Since TikTok is a platform that is also used by young children, it was quickly pointed out that the platform allows the publication of such content.

Thankfully, both were soon dismantled.
