Ticket resellers are reporting that prices for Chris Rock’s performances at Standup have suddenly skyrocketed.
Rock has yet to comment publicly on the incident at the Oscars, when Will Smith took the stage and punched him in the face after a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada.
Fans apparently want to see if Rock could incorporate the incident into his standup routine.
Rock has shows in Boston on April 30th, 31st and 1st. At one point before the Oscars, tickets were available for $46, according to reseller TickPick. Now the latest prices for these seats range from $317 to $797.
TickPick says it sold more tickets to see Rock in one night after the Oscars than it did in the past month combined.

Rock’s “Ego Death Tour” in the US has 38 dates scheduled so far and will be performing in major cities such as Las Vegas, Denver, Oakland, Seattle, New York, Chicago and Toronto. Rock will wrap up the tour on November 17th and 18th at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles – where the Oscars took place on Sunday.
