A three-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet Friday night while exiting her daycare center in Brooklyn, police said.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., gunshots rang out outside 127 Riverdale Avenue in Brownsville as the child exited the two-story building where Creative Minds Family Day Care resides with her father, police officers and day care workers said.
Two other children were also nearby but unharmed, a worker said.
“I think it was like a drive-by or something because it happened so quickly,” a daycare worker who asked not to be identified told the Post over the phone.
The condition of the child was unclear. No arrests were made immediately.
