1. Amy gets a spike

Maturity sparks excitement for Amy Barlow (played by the actress Elle Mulvaney) as a teenager recently celebrated her 18th birthday.

So when her new boyfriend Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) suggests they go to a nightclub with her friends after the Lovers’ Dance, Amy is ready for a night of partying.

But the evening turns to horror when Amy not only hits the club, she also falls to the floor.

Feeling increasingly anxious upon arrival, she suddenly collapsed as Jacob yelled at Asha, Aadi and Summer to call an ambulance.

Jacob does whatever he can to help her and put her in side security.

Then he doubted that her drink has skyrocketed.

Hospital reports continue to reveal that Jacob is on the right track – Amy was the target of a spike when traces of GHB were found during blood tests.

Jacob’s efforts are far from counted as in Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) eyes, he is the only one who can be blamed for the incident.

He orders the young criminal to stay away from his daughter, shocked at her seemingly lifeless body.

This prompts Jacob to tell Steve that he and Amy are together.

Tensions arose between the two, but Amy was able to stabilize after Jacob’s quick response, according to a nurse.

Before Amy left for the club, she was asked to leave the dance with her friends when teacher Daniel Osbourne realized they were all drunk.

This means she was beaten before arriving at the club, which can be confirmed by a key witness of the scene.

While the police are investigating, little do they know that Max Turner (Paddy Bever) has… a shockingly nasty video for them.
