‘This is an angry player’: Gary Neville says Tottenham’s 26-year-old is not happy with Postecoglou

Gary Neville says Richarlison was “upset” to be replaced by Ange Postecoglou in Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday.
The 26-year-old started the game but failed to make an impact in the final third despite Tottenham creating a number of big chances.
Just after the hour mark, Ange Postecoglou decided to knock out Richarlison and he didn’t look happy leaving the pitch.
And then, as he sat on the bench, TV footage showed the Brazil star scolding and pointing down the pitch, with Neville adding: “I didn’t quite get that but I don’t think it was a compliment. ” he said Sky Sports Premier League (8/19/23 at 7:00 p.m.).
Given that Richarlison has only scored one Premier League goal since his big Spurs move, there’s not much he can argue with – although he’s still feuding with a certain Michail Antonio.
Indeed, if he is out for the next game he cannot claim a start, with Neville sharing his thoughts on the former Everton star’s reaction when he was substituted yesterday.

“That’s an angry player,” Neville said. “No (like Fernandes, he doesn’t hide his feelings).
“Perisic went left and Son went up while Ben Davies was brought in at left-back.
About Richarlison speaking out on the bench: “I didn’t quite get that, but I don’t think it was a compliment.”

son in the middle?
Tottenham create a lot of chances but they aren’t ruthless enough in front of goal and Richarlison is one of the main reasons for that.
Will Postecoglou continue to hold on to Tottenham’s record-breaking club signing and hope there’s some light at the end of the tunnel?
Or will he be reckless and drop him for the next game? He can play Son-Heung Min in the middle and some would argue that captaining the club is a far better option.
