These Colleges Require Students and Staff to Get COVID Vaccination – CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – A growing number of colleges in the Boston area are asking students and staff to get booster shots of the coronavirus vaccine.
The Centers for Disease Control says that “everyone age 16 and older should get a booster shot.” Eligibility for the booster shot begins six months after receiving the second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, and two months after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Some schools are asking for boosters during the start of the spring semester or whenever eligibility allows, while others have set different deadlines.
We have compiled a list of colleges that have published enhanced firing requirements. Click the links for more information about each school’s policy.
