This season is now only about a quarter finished with most of the teams around the league, and Chicago Bulls still up there with the best of them. Victory in basketball has been sustained in Chicago, with many critics arguing it won’t work with the current lineup.
Currently, the Bulls are tied with the Brooklyn Nets for the most wins in the Eastern Conference with 15 games. They beat those Nets this season, and have some big wins against the Knicks (twice), the Lakers, the Clippers, the Jazz, the Nuggets, the Hornets, and the Celtics.
The bulls are real. Billy Donovan has done a tremendous job of putting so many new faces together at once, and Chicago looks like a real threat.
However, one of the areas where the Bulls need help is in their front court.
The Chicago Bulls should aim for the trading market when certain players are eligible to trade.
Since Patrick Williams’ end-of-season injury, countless players have been involved. Tony Bradley had to join when Nikola Vucevic gone, and now that Vooch is back, Bradley doesn’t even have a spot in the rotation.
Bradley was replaced by striker Derrick Jones Jr in the back-up center position. While Jones has played admirably, the Bulls could really use another bigwig to take on teams that consistently present threats in the front area like the Indiana Pacers.
If the Bulls are consistently tracking some of the following big boys, hammering out a deal for one of them to bolster the depth of their court might be worth it. This is the team that could make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, and just need one more piece to qualify for the next round.
