The world’s ‘original supermodels’ reunite for their first Vogue cover together in 33 years

You still have it.
Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington appear together on the cover of Vogue for the first time in more than three decades.
The quartet of catwalk queens – long regarded as the world’s leading Original Supermodels – graces the coveted cover of September issue of the Fashion Bibleappears on newsstands on August 22nd.
The beauties have reunited to promote their upcoming Apple+ TV docuseries “The Super Models” which will explore her amazing rise to the top of the fashion world in the late 1980s
“The greatest of all time,” reads the sales line of the September issue, showing the eye-catchers posing side by side on a catwalk.
The supermodels were last seen together on the cover of British Vogue in January 1990 alongside Tatjana Patitz, who tragically passed away in January aged 56.

Their return to the cover of Vogue together is no small feat – especially given that the September issue has long been considered the magazine’s flagship issue.
The cover photo – taken by fashion photographer Rafael Pavarotti – is so striking that it is used for both the US and UK September issues.
“In the late ’80s to mid-’90s, high fashion went from being a niche hobby to becoming a mainstay of mainstream entertainment,” Vogue explained in a press release announcing the supermodels’ cover appearance.

“At the heart of this transformation were Christy, Naomi, Cindy and Linda, whose rare combination of exceptionally photogenic facial features, innate confidence, quick wit, intuitive style, intense curiosity and totally mundane work ethic made the difference in the industry.” And the lights never went out.”
On the cover, 57-year-old Crawford stuns in a black Bottega Veneta dress that shows off her incredible figure
Campbell, 53, meanwhile, rocks leather gloves and a skintight Prada dress, while Turlington, 54, goes braless under a black Versace blazer.

Evangelista, 58, sizzles in a shimmering coat from the Michael Kors Collection, proving that none of the up-and-coming drying racks can hold a candle to the OG supermodels.
