The Woodlands man has been arrested for soliciting sex with a 7-year-old, police said

Police said the department received a tip that The Woodlands’ Lucas Corey Reid was investigating to have sex with a 7-year-old child. Undercover cops began communicating with Reid, who agreed to pay money for a sexual encounter with the child, police said.

During the investigation, the Houston Police Department turned to the Montgomery County ICAC Task Force for help. Point 3 detectives and other members of the task force also assisted in the investigation.

Investigations led them to a hotel in The Woodlands where Reid thought he was meeting up with a child.

On July 5, Reid was taken into custody after a brief fight at the hotel. He is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $60,000 bail.
