The woman was checking the brakes before she was shot during a road rage in northern Harris County, the sheriff said.

Tuesday’s incident happened along a public service road in the 2001 neighborhood of N. Sam Houston Parkway West. Police Chief Ed Gonzalez said the two cars were traveling west and it appeared the woman was driving carelessly and is believed to be applying the brakes.
At that time, the suspect’s car followed the woman. Someone inside the vehicle is suspected of firing at least three or four shots, stabbing the woman in the head.
According to Gonzalez, the driver, described as a white woman in her 30s, was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.
The suspects managed to flee the scene, but deputies said they were looking for two Black men in a four-door sedan, possibly a Cadillac.
