The Witcher 3 Next Gen Update includes Cyberpunk 2077 Easter Egg

CD Projekt has fans of both The witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 wrapped around their fingers with the recent next-gen update, which adds a substantial Easter egg that ties the two worlds even further.

After a less than stellar start to the update – with players even attempting to remove it – secret hunters were treated to confirmation of a direct connection between Geralt’s world and Night City. Subscribers to the unsolved Cyberpunk 2077 Theory of ‘FF:06:B5’ have seen the flames reignited when it came time to connect.

How to find The Witcher 3 Cyberpunk 2077 Easter Egg

The Easter egg in question

To find the Witcher 3 Cyberpunk 2077 Easter Egg, do the following:

  1. Go to Velen and travel to the Ruined Bastion

It can be recognized by three small ruins.

  2. Flip the newly added switches and fight the earth elemental that appears.

Once defeated a portal will appear, enter it and it will transport the player to the top of the bastion.

  3. Descend into a room with Wraiths and look for the symbol on one of the walls.

Warning, these Wraiths are unkillable. It might be best to find the icon and switch to photo mode for a steady look.

Secret hunters will note the symbol’s immediate resemblance to the yet-to-be-explained “FF:06:B5” statues found in Cyberpunk 2077, which has its own (and now revived) subreddit focused on finding out.
