The video shows the home inferno in Brooklyn that killed firefighter Timothy Klein

A newly obtained video shows the hellish conditions of a Brooklyn house fire that killed a 31-year-old firefighter and an autistic man who lived at the residence.

Footage, taken by a neighbor before the FDNY arrived, shows bright orange flames and heavy black smoke billowing from the two-story Canarsie home on Avenue N Sunday afternoon.

“Simply devastating. I’ve never seen anything like it, ”can be heard on video, as a woman witnesses the horror.

FDNY smoke eater Timothy Klein, 31, and resident Carlos Richards, 21, died in the fire that brought down the second floor of the home, authorities said.

Eight of Klein’s FDNY buddies were also injured — either from the collapse or from burns, officials said. Some of the firefighters had to jump out of windows as the flames became deadly.

Klein, a six-year veteran of the department, became separated from his fellow firefighters and died when the second floor collapsed, officials said. His funeral will be held in Queens on Friday.

According to family members, Richards, who was autistic, was alone at the time and unable to leave his room.

“He didn’t know what to do,” said Phyllis Foye, 71, Richards’ grandmother. “He was scared of all the smoke.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation.

“When a breakdown happens, it takes forever to find out [a fire’s cause] because everything is destroyed,” an FDNY source told The Post. “It’s not like you can see a black spot around an outlet.

“They also probably ripped the stuff out of the place just to try and get it [Klein] off,” the source said. “Especially in the case of collapses, you can’t say exactly” where victims could be.
