The top 10 most valuable Prem teams with Chelsea are now ahead of Man Utd and Arsenal’s young stars, increasing their value to £505m

CHELSEA has surpassed Manchester United in terms of overall squad value as the January transfer window gets underway.
The Blues are currently the second most valuable team in the Premier League – behind leaders Manchester City.
Thomas Tuchel’s men overhauled a stuttering United team, who – despite the bad results on the pitchH – remains the third most valuable top flight compared to it.
Transfermarkt calculated the total transfer value of every senior player at England’s top clubs.
And Arsenal seem to be doing very well with their young stars currently valued at more than £500m.
The Gunners didn’t pay a dime for something like that Academy graduates Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.
But now they have a squad worth more than half a billion pounds with an average age of just 25 years.
Not surprisingly, Man City are at the top of the money rankings with a squad full of world-class talent.

Superstars like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling are all at the peak of their strength as The Citizens get 10 points clear.
Incredibly, number researchers at Transfermarkt calculate the AVERAGE value of each Man City player to be a whopping £37.2m.
And that was before they made any waves in the January window – wonderkid Erling Haaland has been linked with a blockbuster transfer to Etihad Stadium.
One team that can be expected to break into the top 10 by the end of the month is Newcastle.
Wealthy giants are embarking on strong spending in the new year, with Kieran Trippier and Lucas Digne is already on the wish list this month.
