The Texas-Biden war is proof the frontier madness is far from over

If you thought the madness was over at the Biden border, read Todd Bensman’s account from Eagle Pass, Texas, in The Post last week.

Or harrowing new reports of how many migrants Team Biden has let in one way or another — and how few be rejected or deported.

It turns out, as Bensman reported, Texas is virtual in war with Team Biden over illegal immigrants.

Gov. Greg Abbott has expanded his Hold the Line program, using state police and the National Guard to enforce the law and stop migrants from sneaking across the border.

Nevertheless, state officials believe that the officers of the Federal Border Police are anything but …recruitment They urged migrants to enter the country and flashed their agency’s green and white colors to signal them — on orders from Washington intended to thwart Texas enforcement efforts.

Could something be crazier?

Despite Abbott’s $5.1 billion program, President Joe Biden’s “green uniforms” are serving migrants “on a silver platter.” A border guard even cut a wire to let some people in.

Those who gain entry may receive a notification to show up at an ICE office, then be released and mostly never heard from them again.

At the same time, officials are opening the door to more than one with Biden’s CPB One app, which allows migrants to make border appointments to apply for asylum half a million of it per year – in open defiance of Congress.

As The Post reported, 104,000 waiting for dates in Northern Mexico, more are in the pipeline.

And understand this: A new report shows that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement failed to issue a subpoena to 80% of migrants who crossed illegally under Biden’s “parole” program near the end of Title 42 policy.

These people will almost certainly never get a court date to pursue their supposed asylum claims, let alone appear in court. (Especially since few have legitimate claims.)

If federal agents miraculously tried to track down and deport these migrants, they would face opposition from “sanctuary” cities and states.

The madness extends well beyond the border, with thousands of migrants continuing to flood cities, particularly New York.

This prompts Mayor Eric Adams to endlessly search for new parking spots – school gyms, the Aqueduct Racetrack, the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center.

These ideas are often discarded – only to somehow resurface when he’s once again desperate for websites. He even had leaflets distributed at the border urging migrants to consider traveling to a city other than New York.

Make no mistake: we’re not against it legal Immigration, but this unchecked madness wreaks havoc.

Even pro-Biden supporter Adams (eventually) slammed the Prez for causing the chaos.

But now several other Democrats on the City Council, including Speaker Adrienne Adams, are joining him in calling for Biden Republicans to fix the border.

“What we need now are real solutions.” . as President Joe Biden addresses the crisis at our borders” and sends “financial relief,” read her letter to him, Gov. Kathy Hochul, and Adams.

Biden, of course, won’t budge; He’d rather fight the city, Texas, and anyone else who carries the insane burden of his open borders policy.

No, the madness won’t really end until there’s a big change at the top of the White House.
