The switch from Apex Legends Season 13 to “Out of Bounds” leaves players sitting

Respawn Entertainment has announced a secret change to how Out of Bounds works in Apex Legends Season 13, and Valkyrie Mains won’t be happy with the news.

Out of Bounds is a message that appears on screen in the Apex games when players have left the battlefield they are allowed to play on. For example, this could be triggered after going too far into the ocean at Storm Point or landing on the tallest buildings on World’s Edge.

Even back then, players could shoot and throw grenades, among other things – so much so that people used certain Legends to exploit the feature while traversing the map.

With the update “Season 13: Saviors” that should change.

Apex Legends Season 13 update changing Out of Bounds

Valkyrie received a stealth nerf with these changes in Apex Legends Season 13.

On May 9th, a whole host of changes to Apex Legends were announced ahead of the new season on May 10th, 2022.

All of these details were released as part of the patch notes, including a number of weapon buffs and nerfs, a new legend called Newcastle, and changes to the Storm Point map.

One of the most interesting but subtle changes affects players exiting the Realms of Battle.

This is how Out of Bounds works in Apex Legends Season 13

In S13, players cannot do the following while out of bounds:

• Use legend skills
• fire weapons
• throw grenades
• Use survival items
• healing items
• Passive abilities are disabled

If you are out of bounds on the map in Season 13, you will not be able to use:

– Legend Skills
– Weapons or Nades
– Survival Items
– Healing Items (Will not be canceled while healing)

This will make it significantly more difficult for players to return to combat and will be a major blow to those who regularly fly out of the zone of action as a strategy.

Legends can no longer use their weapons or abilities, which could impact a number of people in the community by making careless mistakes more dangerous.

This, of course, robs Valkyrie of the flight advantages that would previously have been able to fly out of bounds and then fly back in when needed. As a result of this tweak, her jetpack would no longer function.

So make sure you land in the right place in Apex Legends Season 13. Mistakes are fatal.
