The suspect yelled he would not go to jail before leading authorities to hunt

The Harris County Precinct 5 Police Officer’s Office said the chase began with a traffic stop when the suspect yelled that he was not going to jail and took off.

SkyEye was at the scene of the chase when the Southwest Freeway slowed.

At some point, the suspect began to slow, exiting the freeway and stopping at a nearby gas station.

SkyEye footage captured the moment the suspect got out of the car with his hands up and fell to the ground.
