The second trailer for the movie “Super Mario Bros” is full of new details

The second Movie trailer for Super Mario Bros dropped, and it’s full of new details about the film. Not only did it reveal more characters, but it also gave us a little background on what to expect from the story. But most importantly, it gave us more confidence in the film after the mixed reception of the first trailer.

The Super Mario Bros. movie is full of references to different game series

We’ve put together a small list of observations we made on the new trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie.

Donkey Kong and Mario start out as enemies for some reason. The two meet in a coliseum designed similar to the playing field in the original DK game.

In the Bowser’s Castle scene, we can see that many familiar enemies are returning, such as:

• Koopa troops
• gumba
• Shy boys
• Bob ombs
• Piranha Plants
• bullet calculations
• Cheep Cheeps

We saw Princess Peach’s official reveal. She dons her iconic royal dress, but it looks like she’s changing into something more practical for racing and fighting.

There are also a few power-ups used in the film. For example, we saw Tanooki Mario and Peach with a fire flower. However, the most common transformation, the Super Mushroom, has yet to be revealed.

Mario and his friends will hit the track at some point in the film. The trailer showed the crew hurtling down Rainbow Road.
