Republicans are reinventing voter mobilization — recruiting drivers at gas stations while pumping some of it most expensive fuel in history.

“I’ve never been so excited about gas in my life,” he said GOP activist Scott Presler.

Presler dispatched dozens of volunteers to gas stations across the city and Long Island on Saturday to recruit new voters ahead of the November midterm election — and to persuade registered Democrats to switch parties.
