“The Nun II” had a holy opening night

The theatrical release was blessed.

“The Nun II” grossed $13.1 million on its first day in theaters. according to IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.

The supernatural gothic film that ABC News called “A Face Plant Horror Splat” is the ninth chapter in the Warner Bros. “Conjuring” series.

It stars Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet and Bonnie Aarons – the latter of whom is suing Warner Bros. for breach of contract – all returning from the first Nun film, which hit theaters in 2018.

The car racing video game drama “Gran Turismo”, which Variety said features a “lack of joy in depicting gameplay” and came in fifth place with sales of $900.00.
