The multimillionaire social media star has confiscated a £1million McLaren supercar after it was stopped on the road in Kent without insurance

A MILLIONAIRE social media star had his gold McLaren supercar impounded by police after driving without insurance.
Pooyan Mokhtari, who has nearly six million Instagram followers, saw his £1million Senna engine swiped by traffic officers after it was stopped in Dover on February 25.
The 31-year-old Iranian influencer, who is believed to be worth £10million, ‘was unable’ to sort through insurance for the car – leaving it to gather dust at a salvage yard in Kent.
It is understood that the conspicuous engine was being driven to the Channel Tunnel and shipped to Milan at the time of the stop.
The McLaren, which has a top speed of 208mph, was so low to the ground that cops had to drive it away rather than call a tow truck.
A source said: “Cops couldn’t believe they had seized a seven-figure car that wasn’t insured on the road.
“The owner would not have been insured if he wrote it off.
“The McLaren would not physically fit on a recovery truck without damaging the undercarriage.
“Officials drove it to a local accident scene before driving to a salvage yard, where the car sat for more than a week before it was finally picked up.”
Mokhtari sent a truck to collect the car on Sunday and immediately had it shipped to Paris, where he posed with it for photos in front of the Eiffel Tower today.
Kent Police said last night: “At around 6pm on Friday 25 February officers stopped a vehicle at the Channel Tunnel Terminal which was not insured.
“The driver had the opportunity to purchase insurance for the vehicle but was unable to do so and the vehicle was therefore impounded.”
