The Menu: Moviegoers rush to do this one thing after seeing Anya Taylor Joy’s new thriller

Everyone who saw it The menu rushes to do a very specific thing after the credits roll.

The dark comedy thriller has proved to be a surprise box-office hit since its theatrical release on November 18.

The menu Stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult in a satirical horror directed by Mark Mylod, who has previously worked on episodes of game of Thrones and successor.

The film follows a young couple (Taylor-Joy and Hoult) who travel to a remote island to dine at an exclusive restaurant run by chef Julian Slowik (Fiennes). They are joined there by numerous other extremely wealthy guests.

The menu It might be best to know as little as possible about the plot – but everyone who has seen the film agrees on one thing.

It doesn’t take long before it is revealed that the diners are all doomed to die as part of a grand scheme devised and executed by the restaurant’s chefs, led by Slowik.

Taylor-Joy’s Margot makes a way out and ends up in Slowik’s apartment, where she finds newspaper clippings on the wall documenting his rise to become one of the finest and most respected chefs of his generation.

Below is an early clip of Slowik as a young man working at a seemingly classic cheap burger joint.

In a stark contrast to his grumpy demeanor today, Slowik can be seen grinning from ear to ear.

When Margot returns to the restaurant, she manages to escape the grim procedure by asking Slowik to make her a hamburger and fries, which he is very happy to do.

Slowik is visibly moved by the request, apparently reminiscent of the beginning of his career, when cooking actually made him happy.

When Margot asks if she can take out the rest of her meal, Slowik agrees and allows her to leave the restaurant unobserved.

The film’s final shot shows Margot, who escaped on a boat, eating the rest of her hamburger while watching from afar as the restaurant bursts into flames.

Many viewers agree that the film really made you want a hamburger.

The menu also stars Hong Chau, John Leguizamo, Janet McTeer, Reedbirney, Judith Light and Rob Yang.
