The likeness of Pete Davidson meets a violent ending in a new video by Kanye West

Kanye West has shared a second music video for his single “Eazy,” which features an animated version of Pete Davidson being thrashed by a skinned monkey.

The first video for the song, released earlier this month, showed West burying a Davidson cartoon character alive.

The rapper, who changed his name to Ye last year, was widely criticized for the footage.

In the new clip, characters representing West and his collaborator The Game appear alongside the skinned monkey from the “Eazy” cover.

An avatar for Davidson is shown with the comedian’s face blurred. The character wears a hoodie with the word “Skete,” West’s derogatory nickname for the star, who is currently dating his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

At one point, the monkey pins Davidson and repeatedly smacks his head while West raps the lyrics, “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”

Since Kardashian filed for divorce from West, the rapper has publicly appealed to the reality star on multiple occasions to get back together.

After Kardashian called his behavior “scary,” West apologized for some of his social media posts and said he would “take responsibility.” Since then, he has posted multiple times about Davidson and Kardashian’s relationship.

“Eazy” wasn’t the only track on his last album, donda 2, to refer to Davidson.

In the track “Security,” the rapper alludes to “compromising Davidson’s security” by suggesting he stands “between a man and his kids.”
