The Instagram star’s Ruby the goldendoodle is facing eviction with owners in a dispute over whether pets are allowed.

The star dog INSTAGRAM Ruby, the goldendoodle mini-dog, has had to face being evicted from the house along with other owners in a row over whether or not pets are allowed.
The pooch has lived at the Manhattan compound since April 2020 but the owner of the duplex wants to evict him from the house.
Landlord BH Properties is trying to bring a curly-haired Ruby along with owners Stephanie Handley and John J. Sayers from their West 51 rental stable.
It has “taken aggressive steps recently” to remove them.
They claim they are doing this because dogs are not allowed under the rental agreement.
After nearly two years, “a long time has passed,” the couple said in court papers.
And they point out that they’ve been “publicly” living with Ruby, who has more than 4,500 Instagram fans around the world.
The pooch runs in and out of their apartment every day with its owner.
The pair also allege the building’s workers “knew or ought to have known about the dog’s presence,” according to a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
Under city law, landlords have three months to take actions such as eviction when they discover a tenant has violated the pet ban.
The owner thinks he first learned about Ruby there in November.
The company said in the lawsuit that a worker entered the apartment to make repairs.
