The Houston Police Department’s murder investigation at the Landis Elementary School property is ongoing
The Houston Police Department confirmed the investigation at around 7:15 a.m. at 10255 Spice Lane, which is in the Alief area just off the Sam Houston Tollway
“Homicide investigators are at the scene of a man found dead near a school,” HPD tweeted. “A passer-by observed the man in a park on the school grounds when he was unresponsive.”

Investigators were initially unaware of the person’s death.
HPD also did not say if anyone was arrested or wanted.
