The footage shows the street execution of an 80-year-old New York man by a bike gunman dressed like a ninja

Shocking surveillance video shows a “wonderful” 80-year-old man being executed by a bike dealer dressed like a ninja on a Bronx street on Sunday – as the victim’s wife looks on in horror.

Marcelino Valerio and his wife had just gotten home from a Sweet 16 party and got out of the car when the older man was seen outside 1209 Ogden Ave. around 1:10 a.m. was shot in Highbridge, police sources reveal in chilling footage obtained by The Post.

Valerio’s killer – dressed head to toe in black, complete with a black ski mask – had ridden up next to him on the sidewalk and shot him twice, including at close range in the head.

The footage shows Valerio’s wife reeling in shock as two hysterical women rush out of the car, desperately pleading for help.

Moments earlier, the gunman had driven past the building in the other direction – apparently waiting for Valerio to arrive – before driving back as the car pulled up, the footage shows.

The shooter fled on his bicycle after the shooting and remains at large.

Police have not yet revealed a motive for the horror, which unfolded after Valerio and his wife returned home from the merry party in New Rochelle, Westchester County, law enforcement sources said.

The building manager who had previously spoken to Valerio called the victim “hardworking, quiet.”

“He wasn’t on the streets, he was a homebody,” said worker Rafel De Leon, who remembered it Valerio had a wife and a daughter.

There were never any problems with him. He was a wonderful person,” added De Leon of Valerio — who police said had only been arrested once for DWI in 1993.
