The fight date between Andy Ruiz Jr. and Luis Ortiz has been confirmed as August 13 as the Anthony Joshua conqueror has his first fight in 12 months

ANDY RUIZ JR will face Luis Ortiz again on August 13 in Los Angeles.
The Mexican has not been in action since then Defeat Chris Arreola in May last year.
Anthony Joshua’s former conqueror survived being thrown to the canvas by Arreola before prevailing on points.
The stripped-down ex-heavyweight champion had hoped to put together a run in the division only to be thwarted by injury.
Ruiz JrThe 32-year-old underwent knee surgery shortly after beating Arreola.
He now faces southpaw Ortiz in the Crypto.com Arena in a fight that could have big implications for the title.


The Cuban has had wins since losing to Alexander Flores and Charles Martin Deontay Wilder November 2019 for the second time.
Both men have aspirations to claim another shot at the belts.
Andy Ruiz Sr. has praised his son’s chances of reclaiming the title.
He said ESPN: “My son will silence anyone who has dared to call him a coward.

Ruiz Jr. was originally is expected to face Tyrone Spong on July 16 after the event was announced by Triller.
But it turns out the former champion had already signed against Ortiz, meaning the Spong fight won’t happen.
