The driver was arrested after driving Raleigh home by car and fleeing the scene

RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) — A home on the 2100 block of Ramsgate Street in Raleigh was hit by a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
When Raleigh Police responded, officers said the car caused damage to the home and the driver of the car fled the scene.
Police said the driver of the car later returned to the scene and was arrested. However, officers have not yet identified the suspect at this time.
Inspectors reviewed the damage to determine whether the family was able to remain indoors or whether structural damage was a factor. Nothing is currently known about the extent of the damage.
