The Disney Dreamlight Valley Toy Story Update is getting a release date
Developer Gameloft has finally announced this Disney Dreamlight Valley Toy Story release date, with the second major update arriving in about two weeks on December 6, 2022. Not only will it bring the new Toy Story empire, but it will also add Woody and Buzz Lightyear to the cast. We originally expected the update to arrive in early to mid-December given that it took Gameloft about a month and a half to roll out Scar, and we were right.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Toy Story Realm will scale down your character
Just like in the movies, in the new Toy Story kingdom, your character will be shrunk to the size of a toy in a large children’s room. Reaching friendship level 10 with Woody and Buzz Lightyear will grant you outfits to match their cowboy and astronaut costumes, which go well with all furniture prizes for the game’s first event with Pixar. Once you complete the realm and gain access to Woody and Buzz as selectable companions by planting their home in the valley, they grow to about the same size as Remy from Ratatouille.
Given that the Scar update included many new additions, we expect Gameloft to implement many fixes for existing issues. These include console crashes, various quest issues, the lack of a meter showing how many items a player can place in an area, and rebalanced spawn rates for mushrooms, flowers, and fruits.
