DOMINICAN REPUBLIC (Nexstar) – A private jet carrying eight people, including the music producer ‘Flow La Movie,’ crashed while making an emergency landing at Las Americas airport in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday , the plane operator confirmed.
All seven passengers and two crew members were killed in the crash Helidosa Aviation Corporation. The airline reported that the flight was en route to Miami before the incident.
Local news outlet Listin Diario reported that the pilot declared an emergency while it was taking off from La Isabela International Airport and diverted to Las Americas Airport to attempt a landing. It is not yet clear what caused the plane to crash.
“For Helidosa, this accident causes us great pain and sorrow,” the airline group said in a statement. “We stand in solidarity with the families affected, who with us are going through a difficult time.”

Helidosa Aviation has released the identities of those killed. Among them is José Angel Hernandez, 38, also known as the Puerto Rican producer of Flow La Movie, according to Billboards. His partner, Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia, and his son, Jayden Hernandez, were also killed in the crash.
Movie Flow La has his own record label and governing bodies. He is also credited with directing the song ‘Te Bote’, which topped the Latin music charts in 2018.
