KARIM BENZEMA scored a sensational hat-trick against Chelsea despite being fasted for Ramadan.
The real Madrid Striker is currently observing Ramadan as part of his Muslim faith.
However, fasting did not detract from his performance.
In fact, he thinks it might even make him stronger.
Recently interviewed by esquire on the impact of Ramadan on his routine, schedule and exercise program, Benzema showed that there is none.
He said: “No impact, Ramadan is part of my life and my religion obliges Ramadan.

“For me it is very important and I feel good when I fast.”
When asked what he was grateful for, he replied, “I’m grateful that I’m in good health.”
Benzema, 34, was in red-hot form Madrid sped past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman converted a sensational header in the 21st minute before beating Edouard Mendy with another just moments later.
Kai Havertz brought the Blues back into play just in time at half-time, but a Mendy Gaffe gifted Benzema his hat-trick only 46 seconds after restart.
Pundit Micah Richards was mocked by Rio Ferdinand after his recent statements that Benzema had only just reached the level of Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane in his assessments.
Fernando43, tweeted “Benzemaaaaaaa” before tagging Richards, leaving a slew of laughing emojis.
