The Boys Season 3 will explore the history of Vought International

In the midst of the 2021 Saturn Awards, Illuminerdi Kripke asked if there are any specific characters fans should expect in Season 3, aside from the appearance of Soldier Boy (due to Jensen Acks), to which Kripke replied:

“I mean all of them! I mean I think they all have great things to do. I mean season 3 is fun because it’s not just about Soldier Boy, it’s about the team he’s a part of called Payback. And Laurie Holden plays Countess of Crimson and has a bunch of other great heroes. So it’s sort of like seeing who’s Seven before Seven. And what was Vought’s life like? In the history of Vought, what were the ’60s and ’70s and ’80s like? To delve into world history, not just the present is a lot of fun. ”

The history of Vought is first revealed in Season 2, when Stormfront (Cash Aya) reveals the truth about its founding and motives. The company was originally founded by a Nazi scientist, Frederick Vought, who had defected to the United States. Vought would also invent the drug that would later become known as Compound-V during World War II, injecting it into his own wife Klara, who would become the first and eventually named successful superhero. is Stormfront. Vought also grew into one of the largest corporations in the world, with a huge investment and ownership in the superhero team known as the Seven.
