The 27-year-old took to her Instagram Stories and voiced her opinions after dealing with online abuse since opening up about her autism.

“Stop making people feel stupid for thinking they might be autistic, okay?” she told her followers while sitting on her sofa in a pink hoodie.

The reality star continued, “Stop making them feel like that’s an absurd thought because you probably don’t know anything about autism.

“So you should probably shut up and let people explore what their bodies are telling them to explore.

“I see no benefit in telling someone, ‘No, you’re not autistic,’ like you have a clue.

“Don’t tell people that, it’s very harmful.”

DIAGNOSTIC DETECTION

This comes after she revealed she has been diagnosed with autism and asked fans to be “open-minded and accepting”.

Demi opened up about some of her “pains and struggles” in an Instagram post.

The bachelor icon then wrote: “I had a psychological examination and I am autistic. There is a huge stigma when it comes to autism.

“I encourage you to be open-minded and accepting.”

She then continued, “All I want is a better quality of life. I’ll share more of the history of my review and how I got to this point, and all my pains and struggles along the way.

“I want to make sure that anyone who feels/has felt like me can know that you really are not alone. It can get better! And most importantly, it’s not your fault.”

On the cover of her post, she included an unfiltered snap of her wearing sunglasses in a living room.
