The 6-year-old from Pennsylvania was crowned the 2023 Children’s Mullet Champion

It’s a real party for this 6-year-old.

The little trendsetter Rory Ehrlich secured the top spot these years Kids Mullet Championships, with his hairstyle dubbed “Cheddar Wiz”.

A Pennsylvania kid’s professional haircut on the front and party hairdo on the back won in a tough competition between 300 children aged 3 to 8 years.

“He got invited to the Phillies game and he got to meet John Kruk and talk about mullets,” says Airen Ehrlich, Rory’s mother. said WPVI-TV. “Rory now thinks John Kruk is his best friend.”

In addition to becoming Kruk’s best friend, the six-year-old also won a $5,000 prize. He has big plans for his profits, including buying his sister an alpaca and “[going] until night falls again.”

Rory also said he will be “saving a little money for Wounded Warriors,” a veterans’ charity that will benefit from the proceeds of the competition.

Second place went to three-year-old Ezekiel Arita from Hawaii with his creative look entitled “Mr. Aloha mullet.” Third place was five-year-old Kamden Cunningham, also from Pennsylvania, whose “do” was named “The Kammander”.

Registration is currently open for this year’s mullet competitions for men and over 55s.

According to the website, the Mullet Championships began in 2020 with an adult competition held on-site in Michigan.

It is now a national competition, with the scope expanded to include separate categories for children and young people, and an “open section” for men and women aged 19 and over.
