The $4 household product that’s better at relieving sunburn than aloe vera — you probably have it at home

Cleansing expert Neat Caroline unveiled the $4 product, which can soothe sunburn just as well — if not better — than regular aloe vera gel.

“If you’re sunburned and don’t have aloe, apply shaving cream to the burn to soothe it,” she said reliant.

As simple as that.

Viewers were amazed by the news that shaving cream can be used for more than just shaving.

Believe it or not, shaving cream can be used for even more things around the house.

GLASS DEFITTING

Caroline said shaving cream is great for defogging glasses.

“Apply a thin layer of shaving cream to the lenses.

“Then wipe clean with a microfiber cleaning cloth,” she advised.

The same goes for bathroom mirrors to prevent fogging when showering.

COLOR REMOVER

Caroline also revealed that shaving cream can be useful for removing dried paint from skin.

Just scrub your hands with it like you would with soap, then rinse off.

CLEANER MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL

According to Caroline, shaving cream can also help remove stains from stainless steel.

Similar to the glasses trick, she instructed people to rub a thin layer onto the desired area and then wipe clean.

This time it can be with a regular rag and not a microfiber cloth.

Alternatively, rubbing toothpaste onto the stain with a toothbrush can also help, according to cleaning and home hack expert Tanya.

NAIL POLISH REMOVER

Finally, Caroline said that shaving cream will remove nail polish stains from your fingers without removing the polish from your nails.

She said to apply a small amount to your hands, scrub vigorously, and then rinse off.

Shaving cream is far from the only multipurpose household item that is ideal for cleaning jobs.
