That’s why the “Taylor Swift Workout” is going viral on TikTok

A treadmill routine set to Taylor Swift’s music is taking TikTok by storm. Here’s everything you need to know about this latest viral workout craze.
TikTok is a hive of viral content of all kinds. From popular pasta recipes to dance challenges and more, the Short From app is a perfect place for creators to take over the web.
The latest trend sweeping the site is an exercise routine — but that’s not your grandmother’s jazzercise class.
This special workout uses Taylor Swift’s music to keep the pace going on the treadmill for a cardio session guaranteed to get you to the beat.

Taylor Swift has a massive presence on TikTok with over 11.9 million followers — but her music is taking over the app for a reason.
What is the Taylor Swift TikTok training?
Taylor Swift training was popularized by TikToker Allie Bennett, whose video on the subject has garnered a whopping 3.3 million views at the time of writing.
The premise is simple – gym goers just have to open up Bennett’s playlist filled with the music of T-Swizzle and find their pace with the first song “The Man”.
From there it gets a bit more demanding: you should add 0.1 km/h each time the song changes, gradually building up to a brisk run on the penultimate song.
For a cooldown, just go back to a walk for the very last song. And there you have it – a simple cardio routine with timeless bops.

Bennett also added some additional advice in the comments section: “Do this on any incline you feel like (I usually do eight, then reduce it to one when I run)!”
The workout has received hundreds of thousands of likes, and viewers who have tried it themselves rave about the routine in the comments.
“I just made this today and I can’t thank you enough!” wrote one user. “The best workout I’ve had in months! I will do it everyday! Thank you thank you!”
“Let me tell you, this workout is no joke,” said another. “It is so good.”
This is a far cry from the first fitness routine to go viral on TikTok; Earlier this year, Lauren Giraldo’s 12-3-30 treadmill workout caught the interest of exercise enthusiasts across the app and is still wildly popular months later.
