BEIJING (Reuters) – U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc sold 52,859 Chinese-made vehicles in November, including 21,127 for export, the China Tourist Vehicle Association (CPCA) said on Thursday. Wednesday.
Tesla, which makes the Model 3 sedan and Model Y sport utility vehicle in Shanghai, sold 54,391 Chinese-made vehicles in October, of which 40,666 were exported.
Last month, Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio Inc 10,878 vehicles, a monthly record high, and Xpeng Inc delivered 15,613 vehicles. Volkswagen AG says it has sold more than 14,000 IDs. EV series in China in November.
CPCA said passenger car sales in November in China reached 1.85 million units, down 12.5% from a year earlier.
