Terrifying video shows NYPD gunning down an armed suspect

A chilling 44-second video captures the moment cops killed an armed suspect who police say fired an airsoft gun at a plainclothes officer in the Bronx.

Video provided to The Post shows a man in dark clothing who appears to be carrying a gun.

A plainclothes officer appears to be speaking on his police radio and he and a second plainclothes officer are seen with guns drawn before a third plainclothes officer appears.

On Saturday, unsettled residents remembered the fatal shots.

Ital, 71, who lives near the scene, said his daughter, a chemistry teacher, had just gotten home when she was thrown straight into chaos.

The daughter “saw the gun in the man’s hand and when he pointed it at the police, the police didn’t hesitate to blow it up,” Ital said, adding that the police shot was “straight across her face, straight.” in front of her.”

Ital said he went outside and saw the suspect lying on his back on the ground while police took turns trying to revive him.
