Tennessee police report several injured in a shooting in Chattanooga

Several young passers-by were reportedly shot dead during a shootout in downtown Chattanooga Saturday night.

Police said the victims, including teenagers, were wounded after a shooting, WTVC reported.

Police said none of the injured were involved in the incident.

The victims were transported to local hospitals under unknown conditions.

It is not yet clear how many were injured.

Police have arrested a suspect and say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
